Does anyone know about admission to Cornell(CALS)?

I want to major in either Applied Economics and Management or Communication. Does this mean I should take the SATIIs in math and science? Will I have to have a strong math/science back round in order to be admitted?(I am ok in these subjects but they are certainly not my forte.)
