What Does the Bible Say About the Making of Images Used as Objects of Worship?

In the Bible we are told to keep the church plan and simple and not even to have stairs in a church. In Matthew 23:8-10 we are told to never put any kind of title in front ( or anywhere) with our names. So all that are putting Rev., Rabbi, Pastor,... And Father is only for God, no man to use. But just like over doing the church, over doing names also is so. They are putting pride before truth and God.
