How can an Australian get into an American college?

There are lots of international students at US schools. There are schools that range from extremely competitive to open admission (admitting all applicants). Check out sites like collegeboard.com, peterson's, and the princeton review for colleges you might like to apply. There is extremely limited financial aid for international students though.
