Natasha coombs why?

why did it take the police two weeks to find natasha,s body, they said that they were searching the woods and undegrowths around that area, its not a big area why did'nt they find her sooner, it doesn't make sense to me, i truly hope it was a tragic accident and not suicide, her parents will be devastated either way, but how do you come to terms with your only child committing suicide, and if she did kill herself how does her ex come to terms with this, my heart goes out to her parents, friends and family, i was hoping and praying that she would come home safely.
