Are the chinese naive and gullible?

As an American living in Asian countries for over 30 years, I have found the Chinese to be hardworking, industrious with a healthy work ethic, family-oriented with a value for practical learning and education, more honest, direct, disciplined and pure-hearted than most. They are dynasty and realistic clan builders. Regarding the two traits you mentioned, I feel there is a universal need for education everywhere and more truth in cultural institutions worldwide.
