I'm 27 now, and just overweight enough to have the surgery, I used to be able to lose weight just fine, but with the hypothyroidism I am finally able to maintain weight without gaining, but find it impossible to lose weight. -I gained 100 pounds in three years, the same three years that I had the exploratory surgery, my hysterectomy, and my thyroid dropped. The weight started with the chronic pelvic pain, and just kept rising after. I've maintained my weight the past 14 months, just can't seem to lose any of it. Any suggestions, opinions, advice, or first hand experiences out there?!!

I'm trying to get back on track with my life. I'm in the last year of college. I've known that I suffered from depression/anxiety at least since I started college, if not before that. Last year, I nearly took my life. I told my family and friends about it and got help. I also failed two courses that semester, withdrew from another one and was placed on academic probation as a result of my personal issues. I started taking anti-depressants and decided to take a semester off to cope with my depression. My family was very supportive during this period and I am very fortunate for this. I’m not sure why I cracked but it has something to do with being a perfectionist. In school, I was always getting good grades and my friends and family alike have this impression that I’m very ‘smart’. I’ve always felt like a fraud because of this and that if they knew the real me they would learn how stupid I actually am. In the last year of my high school, I became very depressed/ stressed but no one really knew about it because on the outside I appeared very cool. I had a meltdown of sorts at home and my parents and I thought it would be best for me to not finish school but go and do a 6-month foundation studies program in Australia affiliated with a university there. I basically was eligible for this as I had good grades for my ‘O’ levels. Whether this was a good decision or not, it was made and I left for Australia. When I look back now I realize that I was ashamed to leave without completing junior college (or pre-university) and I did not like foundation studies as they focused on teaching English to people whose native language is not English whereas mine is. In first year of college, I never really told anyone that I had done foundation studies as I was afraid they would judge me or look down on me. So I let them ume that I had done ‘A’ levels. They also thought that I was extremely smart for some reason (I really don’t know why they thought this as I hadn’t given any reason for them to think this apart from the fact that I told them I study science!). When exam time came around, I got all sorts of grades ranging from Cs to As. However when my friends asked me, they would say things such as ‘got all As??’ and I wasn’t honest enough to say no, so I would just lie about my grades to them. I felt immensely guilty about this and this spiraled me into further depression. I am sad that I can’t open up to my friends, I feel guilty and ashamed about my so-so grades when I know that I am capable of achieving so much more if I wasn’t so anxiety-ridden about everything. When I resumed studies this year, I again had to cope with so-so grades. It hurts, because I love my subjects but it’s my fear of what others will think and my inherent depression that prevents me from doing my best in them. I wish I could be more open with my friends, but I feel like the fact that I lied to then in the past prevents me from doing so. I feel really trapped by my own actions in the past and I’m not sure what to do now.

Cooking St. Louise style spare ribs?

I'm making 2 kinds of ribs. 2 slabs of pork back, which I've always done wrapped in foil for 2 and a half hours. But, I am also going to be making St. Louis style pork spareribs. I've read too many recipes online to know what to do with. I've read without foil mostly, temps range from 200-400 degrees, but I want to cook them with the pork back ribs. Can anyone help me out. Guy Fitness Advice Neeeded?

Soup Recipes With Chicken... Any Ideas?

Alright, last night we had a whole chicken for dinner, there a quite a bit of left overs and I was thinking of making some kind of soup from it for tonight. Hey guys yesterday i was unlucky and got antivirus 2008.My computer went nuts and i got pop ups saying i had this trojan and that and advertisments for software to download and buy.The my windows defender turned off saying it done so because my computer was not safe.Then i got a message saying Notebook doesnt work no more.I checked a few sites and purchased Spyhunter for $30 and that got rid of 8 trojans and numerous cookies.Then when i logged onto the internet i get bombarded with the same stuff as yesterday,i cant click any link because it redirects me to different sites,every single time.I cant download anything,it wont let me do a system restore.I downloaded Smitfraudfix and that would not run,i get messages saying access denied.When i open my gmail account i have a red logo saying my computer needs to fix a serious prblem to prevent corruption.I have found some dll files and googled them,they are viruses but cant delete them,anyone got any ideas what to do next?all help welcome...

She told me she knew she shouldn't do it, but did not realize what or WHY she shouldn't do it until she was in her teens, and that's when she began to feel really guilty. I told her it was a completely isolated incident, and I honestly doubt it would have even happened if she didn't see the . I think my mom is to partially to blame because my sister admitted this to her (hoping for reurance or to get it off her chest, I guess), and my mom completely flipped out. She is calling my sister a child molester and that she should turn herself into the police. This situation was over 25 years ago! Did my sister really molest me, if she herself was a child and didn't even know what molestation was? I feel she is a good person, has never been in trouble as a child or adult, and this is being blown way out of proportion.

If a person displays the flag they should expect that many people will see it as a racist symbol. I was in cl one day, and we weren't doing anything, so we were all standing around talking. When you are breeding rabbits, you always take the doe to the Buck's cage for breeding, because the doe is very territorial of her own cage, and if you put them together in a run, it's like property up for grabs, and they may fight. Also, I would suggest for the time from when you breed your doe to when she gives birth, you keep her in her hutch-(without the run)-because you wouldn't want something bad to happen where she would lose her litter, or cause an abortion. Also, keep animals away from her cage once she has given birth, because if she gets spooked, she may kill her kits. The gestation period of a rabbit is 28-32 days depending on size. If your rabbit does not give birth by the 35 day, then you need to immediately re-breed her. (Unlike what some people think, rabbits do not have periods, and can be bred anytime throughout the year; and even if you don't want to know-a successful breeding has been completed when the buck falls off the back or side of the doe.) After a successful breeding with the buck, return the doe to her cage and keep her inside the hutch. On the 28th day, install a nestbox. You can fill it with things such as straw and wood shavings/strips. DO NOT put hay in the nestbox. All your doe will do is eat. This is OK, but after a while it is kind of annoying.-(And they will still chomp on the straw, but they probably won't eat as much.)-Make sure she has plenty of straw to build her nest, and she will also probably pull fur to keep her kits warm. This is OK. There is nothing wrong with her, it's just her instincts. (You should probably be worried if she doesn't pull any at all.) Also, be advised if you are feeding your doe pellets, do not feed her excessively, as this may cause a condition called mastitis. Mastitis is caused when the doe is getting too much to eat, (or she has a small litter size). This happens because pellets and food in general-(mostly pellets)-cause her to produce milk, and if she is producing too much, or not getting rid of enough of it, it may cake. You can treat this by milking your doe, or keeping it on a strict diet of hay and water until she gets better. During her pregnancy though, make sure she has plenty of fresh water. As her kits begin to eat her food, watch them carefully. At about 3 weeks, start putting enough food in the doe's dish for her kits as well. (Such as, if you are feeding your doe 1/4 scoop of pellets, and there are 4 kits-add 2 more scoops to the dish-so they all get enough to eat.(3/4). The kits can be weaned 4-6 weeks after birth, and the doe can be rebred. (Although I give my does a period of rest before re-breeding them.) When you wean the kits, give them each their own scoop of food in the bowl. (Such as the above situation, each kit would get 1/4 scoop. 1/4 x 4 = 1whole cup-(4/4). You can also wean them from each other at this time-(I don't.)-but you can. If not 4-6 weeks after birth, then at 8-10 weeks; each rabbit should get their own cage. (At this time, bucks need to be seperated-because they may begin to fight, and chew-but, as long as the does in the litter are kept together, and not bred, or mixed, and NEVER seperated; they can basically live their whole lives like that. (You can also re-breed does still have kits/have kits in the nestbox, because of the rabbit's short gestation and growth period; and also the fact that they are the same amount of time.) Also, when you breed your doe, the buck should be the nicest he has ever been. And/Or, he may get very protective of the doe, and slightly territorial. (Just be cautious-know how your rabbits behave, and their reactions to certain stimuli.) Hope this helps!=)

If you are going to play as a Hobie how many people play it doesn't matter (no offense King-John) and neither does the size or weight. After playing both I would recommend Alto. For beginners, the smaller bore of the horn makes it easier to play and the thinner body makes it easier to get the s. You can rent different horns from music stores to try them out. I suggest a Conn for alto. depending on how seriously you want to take this I would consider getting a pro model. then go to a music store and try out some mouthpieces. for the "facing" you might want to go with a 3,4, or 5. the width of the chamber you want on your mouthpiece depends on what kind of sound you want. if you want a jazzier edgy sound get a small chamber. for a clical, dark, rounded sound get a big chamber. Bari makes some good mouthpieces and so does Selmer and Vandoren. go to their sites to check out mouthpieces and horns. for reeds i would use Rico Royal 2's. they are consistent, easy to blow, and inexpensive. If you want to sound good do ALLOT of long tone and over tone exercises.

Me and my girlfriend and her sister want to open up a bar/club in our area. We've taken into consideration many factors; licensing, zoning laws, location, etc. However, we want to be as prepared as possible, so can anyone help us brainstorm what else we should consider? Why are there no federal taxes being taken out of my wife's checks?

So my wife works retail and makes minimum wage(7.25/hr). She claims Married with 0 exemptions at her place of employment. It even states Married with 0 exemptions on her paycheck. She works about 65 hrs each paycheck(biweekly pay). Her checks are about $410 after everything gets taken out, but nothing is being taken out by Federal. Why? How much should they be taking out for a check thats about $475 before anything is taken out?

Hi, I am back again. People refers that when you are sleeping and see things. It's a DREAM. Ok, for me it's different. I would never sleep if I don't dream. Not cannibalism, but I don't understand why we don't eat dogs or cats. I've never eaten either, but I just think it's sort of silly. In India the cow is sacred, but we eat cows. Isolate a construction area within house for remodelling?

Can anyone tell wher to buy equipment to isolate a small area withing my lviing room to carry out drywall repair. As far as I remember there used to be some extendable metal piles which spring fit between floor and cieling and one can somehow cling plastic sheeting between them at their perimeter thereby making a small cabin inside which you can make all mess, gather dust from draywall snaing etc provided you also take care to islate the floor and seal the area properly with tape or something. Can u pl tell me what they are called and if possible a link where I can buy them. Does Home Depot or Lowes carry them ?

My 3yo son has a bleeding disorder called vonWillebrand disease. It was inherited from me. While his little brother has it as well, my 3yo has a much more severe form. Going to the Dogs?

Is it me or is this country going to the dogs. I was born in 62, i had a fairly strict childhood but learnt to respect other people and their property. My mum would take me to town with her....and leave the house unlocked with no fear of it being burgled, summers were so hot the tarmac used to melt, not many people had very much but they were happy. I think the sixties and seventies were the best ever decades for me. TODAY! Everyone seems in a mad rush most of the time,greed is rife, scams are rife,burglary is rife, violence is rife, disease is rife......etc etc. Tell a teenager off for doing something and you get verbal abuse and the threat of violence, kids drive down the street at all hrs blaring out music waking everyone up. You go to your car in the morning only to find it has been vandalised. There are used beer cans and bottles in the front garden, you dare not venture out at night in the w/ends (to many drunks)...etc etc. This country has lost its way...time to go!
